The way India played in this 20-20 world cup, whole nation is more shocked than sad. The way Dhoni played against West-Indies, all Indians were baffled that it is 20-20 or Test cricket. If Dhoni is not comfortable in 20-20 cricket then he should have thought of this as one-day cricket but what was the need to play Test Cricket in 20-20 matches.
He should realize that Cricket is not only a game in India but a Religion. When playing against England all felt that India is not playing to win, I also had the feeling that the match is fixed. Dhoni is main villain in this chapter. Even if India wins against South Africa in the last match of super eight, it’s not going to make any difference. And let me tell you that India will win this match because they have to reach home country after this match and they could imagine the kind of welcome they may receive at the Airports.
Dhoni should realize that feeling of billions of Indians is more important than anything, especially more important than money and brand value. Indian team has made all Indians feel shame not for loosing but for loosing in the intolerable way… :(
I agree that the loss was impeccable. But i dont think the match was fixed, as u say. As you would know, the T20 is a format where technique is not applied.Its just all about "going out there and bashing". But when the pitch doesnt suit the batsmen, they tend to falter.
ReplyDeleteOfcourse, I do blame Dhoni for a couple of decisions.We all need to understand that when we won the trophy, we cheered them. Now,when they've lost, we need to stand behind them. We cant boo them!!
You should also understand the tight schedule that our guys play. we were first in NZ,then played the IPL, then the T20 WC. you know that they dint have time to energise themselves! Now,they travel to the Windies - first ODI on the 26h june.Such cramped is their schedule. So you cant rule out Fatigue and tiredness.You know that our guys dint play to their potential!!!
cheer up coz another T20 world cup's in nine months time. We were champs for 2 years. the team tht wins this edition stays champs for just 9 months! :D... then, we are gonna win the trophy again...

ReplyDeleteoh nw its you,grt,i mean 1 bad performnace in the tournament afer so many great victories, and people pulled their socks to do the operation, is thier any need for such irrelevent blog, and what is this match fixing,common beta tujhe kuch nahi pata fixing ke baare me to uske baare me discusss bhee mat kar, it was completely visible over the field, the JADEJA factor...and more over no one is in the form ryt now,team is missing Sehwag and will him in the west indies,two more players they going to miss in the west indies.....sachin and dravid....nayar is uselessss

next T20 is Just 9 month ahead....so wait for 1 more excepetional performance of team...cheeer them...dont let them down...they are regularly playing since past 6 month...they are afterall not the Machines....yea its true that some players are ready to play regularly because they earning money and they dont care about the loss or win
